Essa é uma das palavras mais faladas pelos árabes, mesmo quando estão falando qualquer outro idioma. Sempre haverá ao menos um iani no meio. É aquela palavra que se fala sem pensar, para ganhar tempo em uma conversação, como o horripilante tipo assim de São Paulo:
Beirut is a beautiful city... iani... very old, with history... iani... and green... iani, different from here. Dubai has no identity, no history, iani... you must go to Lebanon!
